Cancer Connection offers support in a positive and creative environment, for people living with a cancer diagnosis and for their families and caregivers. We offer eight cancer support groups in Florence and Amherst, a menu of complementary therapies help alleviate the nausea and anxiety caused by cancer itself, its treatment and the stress of the life compromises that come with cancer. We also offer classes & workshops to nurture the spirit, strengthen the body and teach our participants to work collaboratively with the health care system and gracefully with their family and friends. Most of all, we provide a haven where people with cancer can find a ready ear, suggestions for community resources, courage to advocate for themselves, and compassion. All programs are free of charge to individuals diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones.
