DESCRIPTION:Join us for an uplifting and inspiring event dedicated to our survivors.\nThis Survivors’ Day is all about connection and creating a space where survivors’\, caregivers and supporters can come together to share and celebrate their own cancer journeys. We are excited to welcome local author and breast cancer survivor\, Leslie Lawrence\, who will share her powerful story of resilience and hope. Her debut memoir\, I’m a lucky woman: A Photographic Memoir of a Breast Cancer Survivor\, reveals a compelling portrait of one woman’s triumphant cancer journey. \nDiscover valuable resources from our community partners\, take part in our expressive writing workshop led by Camille St. Onge\, LICSW\, and meet other survivors who understand the struggles and milestones of a cancer diagnosis. A ticket also includes dinner and drinks\, an opportunity to shop the Rays of Hope summer merchandise collection and explore a carefully curated book selection of mindful reads at the Rumspringa Books Pop-Up. All are welcome; a pre-purchased ticket is required for entry.

SUMMARY:Supervisory Skills Certificate Series: Spring 2025
DESCRIPTION:HSF’s most popular workshop series is returning for Spring. \nGive new supervisors the skills they need to succeed.  If you are planning on promoting\, or have just promoted someone to a supervisory position help them hit the ground running with this 8 week course.  With HSF’s strong team of seasoned presenters covering a wide range of knowledge from different points of view\, we cover theory\, soft skills\, and hard facts.  Conversation topics range from harassment law and insurance liability to finding common purpose in a team and how to show faith in those who work for you\, and much much more. \nRegister an individual who is eligible for a certificate\, or a space for your agency to send someone different to each session depending on who the topic will benefit most. \nThis series is presented over Zoom. DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, June 22\nRain date: July 13\, 2:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. \n  \nJoin us for CHD All In Barrier-Free Recreation’s first ever Goat Yoga Fundraiser! We are super excited to offer a new way to join together and help support people in our community with disabilities. The first class is an All-Inclusive class for all ability levels (10+). The second class is a Sensory-Specific class for those on the spectrum (4+) where the instructor will use sensory enhanced movements for self-regulation. \n2:00 p.m.: All-Inclusive Goat Yoga Class\n3:15 p.m.: Sensory-Enhanced Goat Yoga Class-Autism Specific \nCloverbrook Farm\n39 Parker Street\nEast Longmeadow\, MA \n\n$35 per person\n45-minute outdoor baby pigmy goat yoga classes\n30 minutes of goat snuggles after each class\nBeginners or yogis welcome\nClass is with a certified yoga instructor.\nBring your own mat or rent one for $5\nPony rides will also be available for $10 from 2:00 m.-4:30 p.m\nFresh lemonade and treats will be available for purchase.\n\n*If an individual who is signed up needs extra support\, we ask that someone signs up with them to help them with movements. There will be volunteers to help as well. The instructor will be modifying movements to fit everyone’s ability level.
