Try Sled Hockey and skate with the Umass Hockey Team

Join the Springfield Thunderbirds Sled Hockey team and the Umass Hockey team on the ice for this FREE sled hockey open skate! This is open to anyone 4+ who is interested in potentially joining the sled hockey program. Those with or without a disability are welcome to join.
The Springfield Thunderbirds Sled Hockey program has a junior team, an adult recreation team, and a competitive travel team. we play out of the Mass Mutual Center or Amelia Park on Sunday afternoon/evenings from September-April. We provide players with all equipment, including a sled/sticks and padding. We never turn anyone away if you cannot afford the fee.
