LifePath In-Service Training – Building a Trauma-Informed Community

Description:
This training supports attendees to better understand the impacts of trauma, and provides strategies for how to account for and address these impacts. The training includes an overview of the research on the effects of trauma and the principles of trauma-informed
care, followed by practical tools for examining one’s practices and making them more trauma-informed. The impact of working with populations exposed to trauma on staff is also discussed.
