This month we are focused on saving members money.  Help us help you, we are trying to reach the 1 MILLION DOLLARS IN SAVINGS for our members through Catchafire use.  How much of the million in savings is for your agency?   YOU DECIDE!

Senior staff of HSF members are invited to have Coffee and this month Catchafire with Becca.  This is a chance to get together to talk about ways to take advantage of free savings with Catchafire.  Becca will be available to help start any projects you may be thinking of.  Future sessions may have speakers on relevant topics. This is a member only event. Coffee  will be provided but feel free to bring your own food and drink!  This will be a hybrid event this month.

Catchafire Day

Catchafire Update

HSF in coordination with The Beveridge Foundation, Community Foundation of Western Mass, and the  Irene E. & George A. Davis Foundation are excited to be able to offer access to Catchafire for a third year to our members.
HSF members have accessed support and services valued at over $465,000.00 FOR FREE! HSF Executive Director, Becca Coolong, will let you know how HSF has used Catchafire for services ranging from rebranding to creating print materials to data analysis to strategic planning. We know that TIME is the biggest barrier to use so she will update you on how little time it really takes. This event will help  programs, and locations in your organization benefit from having access to Catchafire. This is not just a resource for senior leaders, it is a resource for everyone!
Following the informational hour Becca will give technical assistance to start or move forward your projects.

HSF Legislative Reception

 Zoom breakout rooms, 
 All registrants will be assigned to a breakout room with one of their legislators.

 For staff, board, constituents/clients, family members, and volunteers of member agencies of the Human Service Forum.
  • Join your colleagues, clients and community members as we engage with our state legislators at the annual HSF Legislative Reception.
  • This unique event allows you to share a table, zoom style,  with one of the western Massachusetts Representatives or Senators and speak directly with them on topics that are important to you.
  • You and your concerns matter – raise your voice and your issue – Legislators want and need to hear from you.
  • Don’t sit this one out – engage your voice and you can impact policy decisions!
  • Share your story – let your representative know what policies and laws actually look like in action, in our families and our communities.

Due to the virtual format of this event all registrants emails will be required when registering.  These emails will receive a zoom registration link 2 weeks before the event.   In order to maintain the safest virtual environment once  the  zoom registration is filled out each person will receive an individual log in link.

No matter how you feel about artificial intelligence, it is not going away and will be more and more prevalent as time roles forward. Find out more about it, whether or not to use, how, and for what.  Delcie Bean, of Tech Foundry and Paragus Strategic IT, shares his vast knowledge over a delicious breakfast.

Delcie Bean always wanted to create a company where he was excited to come to work every day and where his co-workers felt more like friends and family. This vision has carried Paragus through its growth and transition to employee ownership. His passion for economic development projects in the Valley led him to create Tech Foundry, a technology education nonprofit.
